Builder Proof UK (“we”, “us”) provides downloadable guides and a document review service for UK homeowners. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Name and email address when you request the free checklist or contact us.
• Type of work, approximate budget and optional postcode, so we can send relevant guidance.
• Order details and email address when you buy a guide.
• Documents you upload for a quote review, together with the details you provide about your project.
• Basic analytics data, only where you have consented to analytics cookies.

How we use it

• To deliver your download and send your receipt.
• To carry out a quote review you have requested.
• To send practical guidance by email, where you have opted in.
• To improve the site and understand which guides are useful.

Payments

Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store your card details. Until live payment credentials are connected, checkout runs in test mode and no real payment is taken.

Retention

Order records are kept for as long as required for accounting purposes. Quote review uploads are deleted twelve months after the review is completed, or sooner on request. Marketing contacts are removed as soon as you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you may object to direct marketing at any time. Email hello@builderproof.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies

We set essential cookies needed to run the site. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
